Administration
Joyce Bree, Director I am married and have three grown children. I hold a B.S. degree in Child Development and have over 25 years of experience in the early childhood field. I have served as a teacher, master teacher, mentor teacher, assistant director, workshop presenter and lobbyist for the early childhood field. I was also, the co-founder of the Bay Area Parent Preschool Coop. Rainbow is a member of PACE (Professional Association of Child Educators) and I am a member of the educational committee of PACE. The staff and myself keep abreast of the latest developments of childcare programs so that our standards remain of the highest quality. We have just completed all four modules of the PITC (Programs in Infant/ Toddler Care) program, Rainbow is now certified as a lab school, which will enable our teachers to complete their practicum education while still teaching. Rainbow Daycare and Preschool is an excellent example of the success that comes from people in a community working together toward a common goal. The goal is to provide quality childcare in an enriching environment. A goal we strive for everyday!
Carolyn Adams, Assistant Director I have studied and worked in Child Development for 25+ years. I have a Degree in Early Childhood Education, but studying and learning is something I plan to do the rest of my life. I learn something new everyday. I have worked with teachers, parents and children for many years. It gives me great joy to do or say something which enhances someone else’s life. I work with children because of the enjoyment I get every day from watching them grow, learn and change on a daily basis.

Cook and Substitute Teacher
Miss Leah Working as a cook is a new experience for me and I am enjoying it greatly. It’s lots of fun to cook delicious, healthy meals for the children and they really appreciate it. I was a previously a full time teacher and worked specifically with the two year old age group. I love being around children and being a part of the community.
